The Red Flannel Challenge

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.  And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

 

The Red Flannel Challenge“If the following conditions are met, I’ll preside in Red Flannels all day long in the Detroit or West Michigan Annual Conference.”

  1. The net growth in membership is 10% in a year.  
  2. The net growth in stewardship obligations to the Annual Conference and General Church Apportionments/Ministry Shares is 5% more than the previous year.  
  3. The congregation strengthens its prayer life.

Originally, the offer was for 2005 – 2006

This offer has now been extended through 2008!
