This event is intended for all Michigan Area laity who are currently serving, or contemplating serving, as district or local church lay leader. You are invited to a special workshop, "Making Disciples: The Lay Leader’s Role," planned with your specific interests in mind and hosted by Bishop Jonathan D. Keaton and the conference lay leaders of the Detroit and West Michigan Conference. The cost will be $10 per person, payable on arrival, to cover refreshments, lunch, and incidental expenses. To facilitate food preparation and prevent waste, you must register for this event not later than Oct. 31, 2009. Registration may be accomplished by phone or email contact with any of the conference or district lay leaders identified. Please indicate if a vegetarian meal is needed.
